Volkemphone #TYFYT borrows from hashtagged acronyms. TYFYT being used by web content authors as a shorthand way of saying “Thank You For Your Time”.
It has its roots back in the days when ICQ was a popular messaging platform. It catered primarily for text entries. Abbreviations gained favour as internet connections were relatively slow.
